Movie (vhs):  The White Rose

The White Rose (German: Die Weiße Rose) was a group of students that formed a resistance movement in Nazi Germany from June 1942 to February 1943. Based in Munich, the group released six leaflets, calling on Germans to engage in passive resistance against the regime. A seventh leaflet, which may have been prepared, was never released because the group was captured by the Gestapo.  A movie of the White Rose resistance story was made in 1999 (German, with subtitles).
